For many years, Yunnei Power always follows the principle of "new technologies, high starting point, and high standard" , and has implemented large-scale technical renovation, and introduced advanced technology and equipment. The company’s production capacity has been greatly improved, which lays a solid foundation for it to achieve its medium and long-term objectives. The company has invested more than 1.5 billion yuan and built the international advanced “Yunnei Power Industrial Project”, which consists of black casting lines, machining lines, and engine assembly lines, in Kunming National Economic and Technological Development Zone, covering an area of more than 900 mu (about 600,000m2).
The casting workshop covers an area of more than 40,000m2, consisting of two casting lines, and its annual capacity is 100,000 tons casting parts. The company also has brought in medium frequency furnace from America, imported KW high pressure airflow pre-compaction multi-contact automatic modeling line and sand preparing system, and core manufacturing center + lock cylinder + robots + automatic core storage bank from Spain, as well as imported high precision direct-reading spectrometer and carbon-sulfur analyzer, which guarantees the conformity of the casting products.
Meanwhile, the company also cooperated with research institutes, colleges and universities both at home and abroad to develop casting technologies for vermicular graphite cast iron, high performance aluminum alloy diesel engine block and cylinder head, etc. The first plant is a production and assembly base for commercial vehicle engines, covering an area of 45,000 m2. It consists of 4 production lines and its annual capacity is 300,000 diesel engines. The production lines use automatic and semi-automatic equipment imported from Germany and Italy.
The second plant is a production and assembly base for passenger vehicle engines. Covering an area of about 40,000m2, the plant consists of 8 production lines and its annual capacity is 200,000 diesel engines. It uses flexible machining lines, consisting of machining centers, honing machines, three coordinate measuring machines, SPC gas-electric conversion testing instrument, etc. Imported from Germany and America, which ensures the machining precision. The company also has brought in international advanced automatic and semi-automatic assembly lines and many automatic online testing and mistake proofing equipment.
The logistics and distribution center has a total floor area of more than 30,000m2. It has the largest automatic stereoscopic warehouse in the engine industry. The company has purchased a land of 500mu(about 333,333m2） , newly built and retrofitted 10 production lines, including nonferrous metal casting lines, ferrous metal casting lines, and engine manufacturing and assembly lines. Thus the company has built one of the largest multi-cylinder samll bore diesel engine production bases in China with annual output of 600,000 engines.
